My life took an unexpected turn when becoming a mother and chronic illnesses invited me to slow down and rethink my life’s infrastructure. The Konmari Method eased overwhelm, changed my life and Hygge Kyst was born from that turning point — a path of self advocation, healing environments, and practical home care. This space is where I share what I’ve learned and synthesize my years in service, retail and real estate industries: how to tend a home and lifestyle that truly holds you — body, mind, and spirit.

I am a fifth generation Block Islander. Both my grandparents and great grandparents met out there and married, so if you’ve been there, chances are you’ve met one of my many cousins!
I am a sucker for a good mystery, sci-fi and/or fantasy novel and I was going to name my son Auri if he was a girl. Can you guess my favorite fantasy chronicle?! One more hint… the third book has been promised for a decade and yet to be released!
Hi there, I’m Kevin.
I’ve been a lifelong islander since relocating from Los Gatos, California at the young age of 2 years old. Having lived in all three of Aquideck’s municipalities, I spent my formative years in a quiet suburb of Portsmouth, later moving South to Middletown and finally, Newport. Cutting my teeth early in the real estate world, my adolescence was spent helping my parents Mike and Susan maintain their five rental properties. After attending a private Christian academy through middle & high school, I attended the University of Rhode Island, majoring in engineering. I have been working in real estate in Newport, RI for over a decade, specializing in investment property sales and rentals.
